9/14/2009 Response to ZOA HA# H9078 Temporary Event Permit: 1)"We feel the administrative approval of events should include Citizen Participation (Section 209) and/or Administrative Review with Comment Period (section 504) or some form of Public Notice to include Neighborhood Organizations. 2) There may be a typo in Section F. "reduce detrimental effects to surrounding developments areas and to.…" 3)Most importantly, LMPOA supports the Beaver Creek Kiwanis, in their request for relief for small, non-profit, events held to raise money. Surely these local fund raisers should not be subject to the same fees as a Rodeo or Carnival.
